The removal procedure 1. Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and jacking the vehicle (see: Maintenance\Vehicle Lifting\Service and repair). 2. remove the left front tire and wheel. Means a tyre and wheel-removal and installation (see: Maintenance\Wheels and Tires\Service and repair). 3. Left outer tie rod removal of the Steering knuckle. Refer to the steering linkage on the outer Tie rod replacement (All Wheel Drive) (see: Rod\Service and Repair\Steering and Suspension\Steering\Tie contact the outer Tie rod replacement) outer Tie Rod steering linkage (rear-wheel-drive) (see: Rod\Service and Repair\Steering and Suspension\Steering\Tie contact the outer Tie rod replacement). 1. install the new o-ring (2) the intermediate shaft. 2. install new retaining ring (1), the intermediate shaft. 3. apply a small amount of fat in the GM P/N 01051344 (Canadian P/N 993037) or equivalent intermediate wheel axle splines. 4. install the drive shaft in the left of the front wheel in the axle. 5. in order to ensure that the wheel drive shaft is installed properly, grasp the inner tripod, housing and pulling outward. Do not pull the axle shaft. 6. install wheel axle in front of the backhand. 7. install the left upper control arm is the knuckle. Refer to the replacement of the upper Arm (see: Arm\Service and Repair\Rear and Suspension\Suspension\Control Suspension\Upper Arm replacement
