2000 Chevy truck-S10/T10 instrument panel (I/P)-operator of the Exchange

The REMOVAL PROCEDURE 1. The vehicle has a manual transmission, remove the gearshift knob. 2. the vehicle has an automatic transmission, perform the following: caution: refer to battery Disconnect caution service precautions. 3. disconnect the negative. Warning: refer to the warning on the service precautions. SIR processing 4. remove the passenger side of the SIR system. 5. remove the left sound insulation. 6. remove the right instrument panel sound insulator. 7. If the vehicle has more than one CD-changer situated on the centre console, remove the center console. 8. remove the center sound insulation. 9. remove the lower left instrument panel mounting bolt. 10. Remove and store the instrument panel storage compartment. 11. remove the lower right instrument panel mounting bolt. 12. Remove and retain the right and left speakers and speaker grilles. 13. to remove the windscreen, flat bladed tool on the defroster grille. Keep the windshield defroster Grille for use as a replacement for the IP practitioner. 14. If the vehicle is equipped with a sensor, coil sunload sunload sensor 1/4 turn counterclockwise to loosen the windshield defroster grille. Keep as a replacement for the IP carrier enabled sunload sensor. Important: Always disconnect the power before removing the brown electrical connector BCM BCM in purple. 15. disconnect the Brown electrical connector from the body control module (BCM). 16. disconnect the electrical connector from the purple body control module (BCM). 17. remove the knee fixed. 18. Remove and store the instrument panel cluster. 19. Remove and retain the radio. 20. Remove and retain the HVAC control Assembly 21. Remove the right and left instrument panel on the driver's knee confirms the brackets. 22. the smaller steering wheel clearance.
