Samsung GALAXY S II

Samsung is one of the most successful manufacturers of the smartphones after the Galaxy series. And we have now another new Galaxy version of the phone which is the Samsung Galaxy S2 i9100. The phone is a good combination of stylish looks good feel and easy to use applications which makes this a hit in the user sections. The phone has an Android OS but it has the latest version of it that is V2.3 (Gingerbread). This makes it a high end phone with respect to the technology that is being used. It comes with a dual core 1 GHz ARM Cortex A9 processor which is also the latest one. In addition to that it has Mali-400MP GPU and an Orion chipset to go with it.

It has an amazingly clear and too good to be real display which is a Super AMOLED Plus capacitive touchscreen with 16 million colours. The size of the screen is a whooping 4.3 inches and the resolution is 480 x 800 pixels. The display is of Gorilla glass and it has a very good finish. Along with this the other additional features of the display are TouchWiz UI v4.0; it has Multi-touch input method, Accelerometer and Proximity sensor for UI auto-rotate and auto turn-off respectively. The memory of this phone is huge so there can be numerous phonebook entries and unlimited call records as it has two versions of 16 GB and 32 GB of internal memory and it also comes with a microSD card slot as it is expandable upto 32 GB.

The phone has an edge over every other phone in the technological aspect because it has a class 12 level of GPRS and EDGE technology. The 3G is of HSDPA of 21Mbps as well as HSUPA of 5.76 Mbps. Samsung galaxy S2 is Wi-Fi enabled with Wi-Fi 802.11a, b,g and n support, DLNA and Wi-Fi Direct support for better connectivity for the users who are net savvy and love to roam around while surfing. Another striking feature of this handset is that i have 2 cameras. The primary camera is of 8 MP with autofocus and LED flash which results to amazingly clear pictures and nice photographic experience. Along with that it has a secondary camera of 2MP which helps in the video calls which are so popular now days. Additional features of the camera are geo-tagging, touch focus, image stabilization and face and smile detection. There is also a video option which is of 1080p at 30fps.

Samsung Galaxy S2 is available in only one colour that is black. And it is filled with different games as well as an FM Radio option. The browser is of HTML type and it is equipped with a GPS system courtesy A-GPS. This phone is a collection of apps as it has document editor, image editor, digital compass, TV out, organiser, Google maps, Gmail, Youtube and many more. The battery backup of this phone is decent enough as it gives about 15 days in standby and about 8 hours talk time.
