2013 Tata Nano caught completely Undisguised
Tata Nano is the cheapest car available in the county. But Nano hasn’t caught the imagination of Indian customers. From the start itself Nano was facing so many problems. But Tata didn’t give up hope in Nano. Last year Tata introduced the 2012 Nano with lots of improvements over the previous model. Regulars here know that we have already reported about Tata working on the 2013 Nano. Now Overdrive got the pictures of 2013 Nano completely undisguised while shooting for the new advertisements.
On the Exterior Tata hasn’t given big changes for the Nano, To make Nano more upmarket Tata has given a chrome strip in the hood which runs between the head lamps. Same chrome strip is also given in the rear too. Rear bumper is now ventilated to reduce the heat in the engine and will allow more air to engine. We expect Tata has given ventilation because of the new diesel engine. Diesel engine want more air and also give more heat than the petrol engines. So we can expect the introduction of Diesel Nano. Nano diesel will be powered by a 800cc Turbo charged twin cylinder engine which produces 40 BHP of power according to Garret which supplies Turbo charger for the Nano diesel engine.
Another change comes with the 2013 Nano is that it will get a proper hatch door. Unlike the previous Nano the hatch door can be opened and we can access the small boot space. From the picture we cannot see any handle for the rear door so we can expect the hatch opener to be given in the driver area. 2013 Nano also get a new wheel cover which looks better than the current one. Tata hasn’t given any changes for the interior. 2013 Tata Nano will get a new Blue color which was first shown in the 2012 Auto expo with the Nano concept. 2013 Tata Nano will be powered by the same petrol engines and this time the option of CNG will be there. We can expect Tata to launch the 2013 in the coming months.
