Samsung Announces Galaxy Express 4G LTE Smartphone


South Korean technology giant Samsung has announced the Galaxy Express, a "value-driven" 4G LTE smartphone. Supporting 4G LTE bands of 800/900/1800/2600, the Galaxy Express sports a 4.5-inch WVGA Super AMOLED Plus display and is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core processor.

Running on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, the device houses a 5-megapixel rear camera and a 1.3-megapixel front-facing snapper. It also includes Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi, A-GPS, GLONASS, MHL, NFC, 8 GB of internal memory and a 2000mAh battery.

As for software, the Galaxy Express offers Sammys TouchWiz UI, AllShare Play, S Beam, various Hubs, ChatON and a number of Google supported services. The Galaxy Express 4G LTE is now available, with Samsung also selling a previous model of the Galaxy Express through AT&T in the USA. This one offers a slightly different design and technical specifications.
